Dr. Mingxi Zhang is a researcher at Curtin University, working in the Soil and Landscape Science Group. His work focuses on adopting comprehensive remote sensing imagery and ground-level observations, laboratory experiments, and earth system models to understand our terrestrial ecosystems in both breadth and depth. He enjoys using large sets of data, powerful computer systems, and artificial intelligence to study how soil changes over time, extreme weather, vegetation dynamics. Mingxi has worked with many different types of scientists and has helped create useful models and datasets. His research has been published in well-respected scientific journals.
